This oversized t-shirt carries this conviction, inherited from the BRESLEV spirit of Rabbi Nachman: SIMCHA is conquered, day after day, against the natural tendency towards discouragement. The word "earned" is not there by chance—it means that no lasting joy falls from the sky without having been fought for in the shadows.

In BRESLEV teaching, sadness is not a sin but an obstacle: it closes, it slows down, it moves away from vital momentum. SIMCHA, conversely, is a force that reopens doors, that restarts, that restores taste. To conquer it is to refuse to give in to the weight of days, it is to actively choose light even when nothing seems to impose it. To wear this phrase is to engage in this inner struggle and make it a source of pride: joy as a victory, not as an easy inheritance.

The oversized, vintage-look cut gives the message a frank street appeal, like a slogan one fully embraces. The garment then becomes a companion in battle, a reminder worn on the skin that joy must be worked for.

Material & print: 100% ring-spun cotton, 220 gsm (6.5 oz/yd²), oversized fit with a vintage look. Gold lettering on deep black.
