On the back, the reversal — but his ability to appreciate what he has already received. The Echo collection works this way: a statement that calls, a follow-up that clarifies.
This piece is inspired by a teaching of Ben Zoma reported in Pirkei Avot, the Ethics of the Fathers. The principle is clear: wealth is not a matter of possession but of perspective. He who knows how to rejoice in his portion lives in abundance, even with little; he who does not know how to appreciate will remain in want, even with much. This is the whole spirit of TODA, gratitude, which transforms SIMHA into a joy that does not depend on circumstances. The name אמת, EMETH, truth, takes on a very concrete face here: seeing clearly what one has, rather than chasing after what is missing.
This is a piece for those who choose gratitude over comparison, perceived abundance over cultivated lack.
Material & print: 100% ring-spun cotton, heavy weight 220 gsm (6.5 oz/yd²), oversized cut with a structured drape and vintage look. Lettering front and back, antique gold on deep black.
