The scroll, in Jewish tradition, is the medium for transmitted words — that upon which the truths that each generation receives and keeps alive have been fixed. It speaks of memory, wisdom, transmission: each person receives an inheritance and then writes their own chapter. Stories are forgotten, but the most precious truths do not wear out with time.
The crown recalls the responsibility of carrying this heritage well, and the name אמת, EMETH, truth, is its ink: what is written in truth crosses centuries.
