Sweat snow wash: why this wash makes each piece unique

By EMETH

You've seen our snow wash sweatshirts with raw edges and are wondering what's behind this unique wash? Here's how this finish is created – and why each piece is literally one of a kind.

What is snow wash?

Snow wash (or acid wash) is a special wash of the finished garment: the fabric is treated with impregnated stones that irregularly discolor the surface. The result: marbled shades, black that turns grey in places, a vintage look that cannot be replicated identically.

Why each piece is unique

The process is intentionally random: two sweatshirts from the same batch will never have exactly the same marbling. It's anti-fast-fashion by nature – your piece exists as a single item.

What about raw edges?

Our snow wash sweatshirts add a raw edge finish: frayed raw hems that subtly age with each wash. Combined with the wash, it's the distressed aesthetic of premium streetwear – intentionally worn, never neglected.

How to care for it

Wash at 30 °C inside out, delicate cycle, gentle drying. The wash and raw edges are designed to age with character – each wash refines the patina.
