Hitbodedut, taught by Rabbi Nachman of BRESLEV, is the art of secluding oneself to speak to HASHEM in one's own words, without mask or learned formula. Alone, the heart speaks. This open hoodie carries this dialogue into the silhouette.
The BRESLEV universe knows no pretense: Hitbodedut is the exact opposite of appearance. One isolates oneself to become true again, to shed what was weighing one down. The 148 inscribed in antique gold on deep black reminds us that the most enduring strength is born from this silent face-to-face—invisible to others, but decisive. It is there, in secret, that true victories are won, those that hold when everything else falters and no one is watching. Far from being a weakness, this withdrawal is the very source of solidity: one withdraws to return better, truer, and stronger.
Designed for layering and street luxe silhouettes, this piece can be layered and styled: open over a tee, closed against the wind. Washed effect, dropped shoulders, full-length zipper, and structured hood make it a transitional garment as much as a statement piece—fluid, premium, true to the message it carries.
